Spring Tides

                                                                     Vocabulary

Tides            - when sea levels rises up and down caused  by movement of the moon.(volna)

волна
Phases of the Moon  -when moon changes it's shapes. (фазы луны)

Lunar Revolution  -when the moon revolves around the earth. (лунные революции)

Lunar Revolution length    -the moon's rotation on Earth and one turn on its axis is 23.7 days. ( длина лунного обращения )                                                                                                                        Water Level        - when the water is high or low it's called water level. ( уровень воды )

Sea Level             - when the water doesn't change it is called sea level. Sea Level is always equal to 0.
 (уровень моря )

Gravitational force from the  - when gravity holds the moon on Earth.(гравитационная сила с луны на
moon to Earth                         землю.)

Spring Tides     - when the water is high higher and low lower. ( сизигии )

                                                                         Summary

Our topic is a Spring Tides.Spring Tides is when the water is higher than high water and lower than low water. Lunar Revolution causes spring tides, because while moon is revolving around the sun it causes gravity so oceans on the earth would follow the moon. It is also called tides when the water on the earth follow the moon. During Spring Tides the phases of the moon are New Moon and the Full Moon. Water Level changes when moon is revolving around the earth. The sea level is always stays the same, which means it doesn't change. Spring Tides are caused by gravitational force from the moon to earth and makes higher high water and lower low water. Now we know more about the spring tides and we hope to teach others.

                                                         Critical Question
How is Earth affected by movement (revolution) ?
Earth is affected by movement because it gets sunlight by moving around the sun and by that earth's season's change. The movement of the earth affects year to change which takes 365 days. Earth's movement creates variations in temperature, weather, and the seasons.

                                                                   Reflection
1) What did you enjoy most about this project and why?   I liked recording video the most because it was interesting to hear my own voice and doing a video like this was something new to me.:)
2) What was the most challenging for you during this project and why?   The most challenging thing for me during this project was recording a video because not all the time everything came out perfect. :)
3) What new skills did you learn from doing this project?  The new skills that I learned from doing this project were skills such as talking loud and clear and also my drawing skills improved a little. :)
4) Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
The thing that I would improve  It's probably would be the drawing , I would add more colors to it and make it more visible , now it kind of looks too simple. :)
